Jotunheimen is home to one of Norway’s largest glaciers. From a distance it appears as a sea of white, but upon closer inspection, the ice contains life and is full of movement. This bracelet is not hand-made, but is included in the collection as it’s a perfect match to the marbled beads in the Jotunheimen necklace, mimicking the ripples of water that run through the ice, creating darker formations inside the white snow.
The bracelet has been fully tested by an independent, accredited lab, and conforms to UK, EU/EEA, Canadian and US safety standards. It is free from harmful toxins (more about our safety credentials here). The hypoallergenic materials make it suitable for sensitive skin too. This bracelet can safely be given to under-3s to hold.

Design inspiration
Jotunheimen is home to one of Norway’s largest glaciers, and a National Park. In addition to several glaciers, it also contains Norway’s tallest mountain top, the Galdhøpiggen. From a distance a glacier looks like a sea of white resting on the side of black mountains, but upon closer inspection the ice contains life and is full of movement.
When I was 12, I went on a school trip to Jotunheimen. We went in autumn, around the time of my 12th birthday, which I celebrated while we were in the mountains, and one day our group activity was a hike across a Jotunheimen glacier. It was slippery, my shoes were too tight so I got cold, and I was terrified. None of this was helped by the need to walk in a line and be tied to others in my class group for safety; especially not when one of the boys decided it would be fun to slide down the glacier and pull everyone else with him!
This bracelet is not handmade, but is part of the collection as it’s a perfect match to the white and grey design on the Jotunheimen necklace, reflecting the cold and clear water running through the ice, finding the shortest route towards the nearby lakes and fjords, and creating traces of darkness in the bright ice as it weaves its way downward.
