In a lot of the designs in our collection, you’ll see the word “strand” (“beach”), and that’s because that are so many of them in my hometown of Sarpsborg, Norway. As a result of the winding shoreline across Norway’s coast, there are 63,000 miles of coastline, enough to circle the world two and a half times if stretched out. This bracelet is not hand-made, but the colour is a perfect match for several of the handmade necklaces in the collection, such as Smögen, Isibar or Isesjø. It also looks great in double, and can be paired with another version of itself, or with the Mint bracelet.
The bracelet has been fully tested by an independent, accredited lab, and conforms to UK, EU/EEA, Canadian and US safety standards. It is free from harmful toxins (more about our safety credentials here). The hypoallergenic materials make it suitable for sensitive skin too. As it’s a single piece, this bracelet can safely be given to under-3s to hold.

In a lot of the designs in our collection, you’ll see the word “strand” (“beach”), and that’s because that are so many of them in my hometown of Sarpsborg, Norway – as a result of the winding shoreline across Norway’s coast, there are 63,000 miles of coastline, enough to circle the world two and a half times if stretched out (according to National Geographic).
The beaches are a major attraction and feature of living in Norway, and explains why so many of us love spending time by the water – it’s everywhere and we use it at all times of the year, not just in summer. With Strand, you can also be close to the beach any time you wish.
